HOME IS WHERE THE HEART IS

monday mini

This weeks Mini 'Home is Where the Heart Is'

No matter who you are with or where you are in the world, your family and home always have the deepest affection and emotional pull. It is the place where you have a foundation of love, warmth, and happy memories. It might not always be the building itself, but being near your loved ones.

Yes, so much layering in this mini and plenty of little left over papers cut into tags.

Don't you just love the sweet corrugate house embellishment.

There is  plenty of space to journal and I always leave a side open in case I want to add some other ephemera or even tuck a photo underneath.

I'm sure it will be used on a scrapbooking layout with a picture of our home!

Til next time -  Julie  xo

Life gets busy—like really busy. Between family, work, and all the other things we juggle, sometimes it feels like there’s no time to squeeze in a creative moment. That’s exactly why I started Monday Minis—my little way of carving out some “me-time” in the middle of the everyday chaos.

This is definitely one of those gotta capture the photo...moments, taken with a film camera over 30 years ago. Once upon a time, long ago, I worked for a photographer and of course he/we developed all the photos in a real darkroom. I was very luck I guess to get free film and the opportunity to develop my own photographs
