WELCOME TO THE RETREAT HUB

Think of this Retreat Hub as your one-stop destination for everything you need before, during and after your retreat.

As retreat gets closer, I'll be adding important updates, packing tips, activity information, shopping specials, class details, printable resources, room and table information, meal updates, challenge details and plenty of helpful reminders.

Rather than searching through emails or Facebook posts, you'll find everything organised here in one convenient place. Simply bookmark this page and check back regularly to stay up to date.

I'll also let everyone know in our Facebook Event and group chat whenever something new has been added, so you won't miss any important announcements. Life gets busy, so consider this your central retreat headquarters where all the latest information also lives.

The Retreat Hub is also a great place to download your planning workbook, print checklists, browse retreat activities and get excited as the countdown begins. New information will continue to be added in the weeks leading up to retreat, so there's always something new to discover.

Most importantly, this Hub is here to help you arrive feeling organised, relaxed and ready for an amazing creative weekend. The more prepared you are before you arrive, the more time you'll have to do what you love—create beautiful projects, learn new techniques, enjoy a little shopping and spend time with wonderful crafty friends.

💕 Tip: Bookmark this page on your phone, tablet or computer. It'll become your go-to guide before, during and even after retreat, with everything you need right at your fingertips.

Retreat Planning Workbook

What's in My Craft Caddy

Every crafter packs a little differently, and that's one of the wonderful things about our hobby! Some of us love having every tool imaginable close at hand, while others prefer to keep things simple and only pack the essentials.

Over the years I've discovered which supplies I reach for over and over again, so I've put together a list of everything I keep in my own Craft Caddy. Think of it as inspiration rather than a packing checklist—use what works for your style of crafting.

As you look through my list, you'll probably spot items you already carry and maybe a few things you've never thought to pack before. Then it's your turn!

Use the following pages to create your own personalised Craft Caddy inventory. Write down exactly what you like to keep in your caddy so you'll always have a handy reference when it's time to pack for a retreat, Creative Day, Studio Day or crop.

Having your own inventory means:

  • Pack faster before every event.
  • Restock your supplies when you get home so you're always ready for your next creative adventure.
  • Avoid forgetting your favourite tools and supplies.
  • Discover the tools and products you use most often.

Remember, there's no right or wrong way to pack your Craft Caddy. Make it work for you, your favourite projects, and the way you love to create. A little preparation before you leave home means more time crafting, relaxing, and making memories with friends once you arrive!

Make & Take sessions and Product Demonstrations.

They're a wonderful opportunity to step away from your own projects for a little while, learn something new and maybe even discover your next favourite product!

Throughout the weekend I'll be sharing fun techniques, creative ideas and handy tips using a variety of products from the shop.

you might be introduced to a new mixed media product, learn a clever way to use a die or stencil, or pick up a simple technique that you'll use again and again in your own crafting. Make & Takes are designed to be quick, relaxed and suitable for everyone.

There's no pressure and no experience needed—just come along, have a play and enjoy creating something a little different💕

I'd love you to join in on at least one Make & Take or Product Demonstration during the weekend, so why not add it to your Retreat Bucket List or your Retreat Planning Workbook now?

It's a great way to learn something new, meet other attendees and add another fun memory to your retreat experience. Who knows... you might just discover your next favourite technique or product! ✨

Mixed Media Tag

At our recent Creative Day, we created these gorgeous mixed media tags and they were such a hit. Everyone added their own creative touch by choosing different colours, stencils, textures and embellishments, making each tag completely unique.

For our retreat, we're going to give this project a fresh twist. We'll be using a different focal image to suit our retreat theme, but we'll still be exploring the same fun techniques.

Disney Retreat Class

I'm so excited to be sharing this special class with you at retreat!

During the class we'll be creating two bright and colourful double-page scrapbook layouts inspired by the fun, colour and magic of a Disney adventure. The layouts have been designed to hold a variety of photo sizes, making them perfect for capturing everything from character photos and castle moments to rides, parades and those unforgettable family memories.

This is a step-by-step class, so whether you're new to scrapbooking or have been crafting for years, you'll be able to follow along at your own pace. I'll guide you through each stage, sharing plenty of tips and techniques along the way to help you build layers, create balance and add those finishing touches that really bring a layout to life.

Your class kit includes all the papers and embellishments you'll need to complete both layouts. Just bring your basic tools, adhesives and, if you'd like, your Disney photos ready to pop into the layouts.

The layouts can easily be adapted for birthdays, family outings, holidays, celebrations or any happy occasion.

💕 Class Fee: $25.00

📚 Booking is essential so I can prepare enough kits for everyone. If you'd like to join the class, simply book in and I'll add your name to the list.

I can't wait to create these layouts with you—it'll be a fun, relaxed session filled with creativity, laughter and, of course, a little Disney magic! ✨🏰

KIAH RIDGE DIETARY PORTAL

I'll be sending out the Kiah Ridge portal link soon so you can enter your own dietary requirements directly into their system.

Please make sure you watch the short video first, as it explains exactly what to do.

⚠️ One important step: When you get to the question "Are we providing all meals for you?" untick that box.
This will open the full list of meals for the weekend.

From there, simply tick the meals you'll be having and untick any meals you won't.

For example, if you're arriving on Saturday afternoon, you won't need:

  • Friday dinner
  • Saturday breakfast
  • Saturday lunch

So just untick those meals before submitting your information.

This helps Kiah Ridge prepare the correct number of meals and avoids food being ordered unnecessarily.
