At Scrap of Your Life, we believe creativity is about so much more than paper, glue and pretty embellishments. It's about bringing people together, sharing stories, building friendships and finding joy in the little things. And sometimes, it's about using our love of crafting to make a difference in someone else's life.
Giving back to our community is something close to our hearts, and throughout the year, we love finding ways to combine our passion for crafting with fundraising and supporting causes that matter.
Whether it's hosting a special charity craft day, organising a creative challenge, donating handmade cards or simply bringing our crafty community together to raise funds, we believe even the smallest gestures can make a meaningful difference.
A Little Creativity Can Make a Big Difference
One of the loveliest things about our crafting community is the generosity of the people in it. There's always someone willing to lend a hand, donate a little something, share their talents or join in for a good cause.
In August 2026, our Daffodil Day Creative Sunday brought everyone together for a day of creativity, laughter and fundraising in support of the Cancer Council. Thanks to our wonderful crafting community, we raised nearly $600! It was a lovely reminder of what we can achieve when we come together.

🌼 Daffodil Day Fundraiser 2026 – Cut for a Cause
What a wonderful day of creativity, friendship and generosity!
In August 2026, our Scrap of Your Life crafting community came together for a very special Daffodil Day Creative Sunday, raising funds in
support of the Cancer Council and the important work they do for people affected by cancer.
We enjoyed a lovely day filled with crafting, laughter and a few special activities, including a die-cut swap and a mini book make-and-take project.
It was a chance to get creative, share ideas, enjoy each other's company and support a cause that touches so many families.
Thanks to the kindness and generosity of our wonderful crafting community, we raised nearly $600! 🌼
Cancer has touched so many of our lives, whether personally or through someone we love, making this fundraiser particularly meaningful.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended, contributed, donated and helped make the day such a success.
Every little contribution added up, and together we made a difference.
