Wooden Country Frame Class

In this relaxed and creative class, you’ll make a beautiful decorative piece using a wooden frame and a decoupage weave — and no experience is needed at all.

Class will be run by Sue Jeffries from '2nd Time Around'.

Each participant will receive one wooden decorative frame, approx size is 50cm wide a 70cm tall perfectly sized to suit the decoupage weave. You will be able to  choose of one weave designs to apply (designs will vary, so there’ll be plenty to choose from). All paints, brushes, and materials needed to complete the project are fully supplied — just come along ready to create.

You’ll start by undercoating and painting your wooden frame in your choice of colour, using the paints provided. From there, you’ll learn how to apply the decoupage weave, and you’ll have the opportunity to add extra decorative touches if you wish — all supplied on the day. Once complete, your frame and artwork will be sealed, leaving you with a finished project ready to take home and enjoy.

The class is very easy to follow, making it suitable for everyone from complete beginners to more advanced crafters who just want a fun, no-pressure creative session.

The class will be held on the Saturday and will take about 5 hours.

✨ What to bring:

Please bring a pack of wet wipes and your own apron — things can get a little messy (the fun kind!).

You’ll leave with a completed project, new skills, and the confidence to try this technique again at home — plus, of course, a few laughs along the way 💛
