It's been one of those lovely everyday days where there seems to be a bit of everything happening.
The day started with a workout session with my trainer. A 6.30 am start meant to an early start eeek! I am not a morning person, but when you have a goal and commitment, its amazing what you can do!
After spending the last few weeks travelling around New Zealand, we decided it was best to ease back into things rather than jump straight into a full workout. As much as I enjoyed our adventures, it's always nice to get back into a routine and start moving again.

My workouts are always kept in a book and I have a lot of fun choosing a sticker at the end of the workout. A simple thing, buts add a little fun.
Today I picked a Giraffe. Haha too funny.
Back at home, I have a customer popping in this morning to collect an order. One of the things I love about running Scrap of Your Life is connecting with fellow crafters, whether it's through the website, at retreats, creative days or simply when someone calls by to pick up a crafty treasure.
Before settling down at my desk, I headed outside to pick some oranges from the tree. There's something incredibly satisfying about gathering fruit straight from the garden. The tree has been very generous this season and I came back inside with a basket full of fresh oranges ready to enjoy. I love squeezing the oranges and having fresh juice on hand.
Of course, reality also means there is some housework waiting patiently for me! After being away for a few weeks, there always seems to be a list of jobs that need catching up. I'm hoping to make a dent in that list before the day gets away from me.
The highlight of today is still to come. Tonight we're heading into Sydney to experience Vivid from the water on a harbour cruise. I've heard wonderful things about seeing the lights reflected across the harbour from a boat and I'm really looking forward to taking it all in. It should be a fantastic evening and, knowing me, there will probably be plenty of photos taken along the way. I'm already imagining how some of those photos might find their way onto future scrapbook layouts.
It's funny how ordinary days can hold such a wonderful mix of things—exercise, garden moments, work, home life and special experiences still to come. Those little moments are often the ones that end up becoming the stories we treasure most.
I'll be sure to share some photos from tonight's adventure in a future journal entry.
Until next time,
Julie 💕
