September will be an exciting month at Scrap of Your Life, filled with creativity, Halloween inspiration and plenty of wonderful new craft products to explore just in time for Halloween crafting.
With costumes, pumpkins and spooky decorations appearing everywhere, it was the perfect time to welcome several Halloween and magical-themed collections into the shop.
Halloween Paper Collections
Two standout arrivals were Paige Evans’ Tricks and Treats collection and the latest Doodlebug Halloween collection.
Both collections were bursting with colour, playful patterns and charming Halloween characters. They offered plenty of creative possibilities for:
- Halloween scrapbook layouts
- Trick-or-treat photographs
- Handmade cards and invitations
- Mini albums and journals
- Party decorations
- Treat bags, tags and gift packaging
Whether your Halloween style is cute and colourful or slightly spooky, these collections made it easy to create projects filled with personality.
Dusty Attic Halloween Chipboard
October wouldn’t have been complete without our fabulous selection of Halloween chipboard embellishments from Dusty Attic.
The range included spooky words and phrases alongside detailed designs such as bats, cauldrons, haunted houses and other Halloween favourites.
Chipboard is a wonderful way to add texture and dimension to your projects. It can be left natural for a rustic look or decorated with paint, ink, embossing powder, waxes, glitter and other mixed-media products.
Use these Halloween chipboard pieces as a bold scrapbook page title, tuck smaller designs into an embellishment cluster or make one the focal point of a card or journal cover.
More Magical New Arrivals
The Halloween fun continued with new arrivals from Hunkydory Crafts, along with the enchanting Wizard Academy collection from Ciao Bella.
Wizard Academy is ideal for magical scrapbook layouts, handmade cards, journals and mixed-media projects. It’s a lovely choice for documenting dress-up events, themed parties and other spellbinding memories—or simply creating something magical because you can!
The new Hunkydory Crafts arrivals also provided plenty of inspiration for cardmakers and papercrafters looking for beautifully coordinated products and fresh project ideas.
Time to Create a Little Magic
With playful papers, spooky chipboard and magical collections to choose from, October offered plenty of reasons to spend some extra time at the craft table.
Which collection has inspired you the most? I’d love to see what you create, so feel free to share your finished projects with the Scrap of Your Life creative community.
