Monday Mini: Capturing the Special Bond Between Siblings
How adorable is this photo? 💕
It was taken around six years ago and features our three grandchildren. I have to admit, there is something incredibly sweet about two big brothers giving their little sister a kiss.
Of course, we all know sibling relationships aren't always quite this picture-perfect!
One minute they're best friends, the next they're arguing over something completely unimportant. But that's part of what makes the relationship between brothers and sisters so special.
Whether they're sharing secrets, creating memories, competing with each other, or driving one another crazy, siblings often share a bond that lasts a lifetime.
As parents and grandparents, these are the moments we love to capture and preserve through scrapbooking and memory keeping.
"Siblings – the definition that comprises love, strife, competition and forever friends." – Byron Pulsifer
This scrapbook layout was created as part of my Monday Mini Scrapbooking Series, where I create a small project using products from my stash and share ideas for documenting everyday memories.

Flower embellishment (another mystery item from the stash!)
One of my favourite little tricks on this layout was transforming a bright teal brad that didn't quite match my colour scheme. A quick coat of gesso toned it down beautifully, and adding a red enamel heart on top finished it perfectly.
It's always worth looking at your supplies with fresh eyes before deciding they won't work on a project.
