Starting Friday night, the challenge is on!
Transform your craft table into a scene straight out of the Wild West — think boots, bandanas, denim, gingham, rhinestones, saloon vibes, .
or full-blown country glam.
The lovely Kiah Ridge staff will be moseying around on Sunday afternoon, keeping an eye out for the most creative, eye-catching and country style table.

De-Stash Table Alert! ✨🎨

Got a mountain of craft supplies you’ve sworn you’d use but haven’t touched in forever? Or maybe you bought that pack of stickers, and can't remember why! Don’t worry, we’ve all been there! 😅 That’s why we have a De-Stash Table at every retreat.

Bring along any craft supplies you don’t need—those once-loved but now abandoned treasures. 🌈✨ Such as stickers, papers, ribbons, buttons, sequins, yarn, beads, you name it! Drop it off at the De-Stash Table, and maybe you’ll find something new to spark your creativity! 🎉 Because one person’s crafty clutter is another person’s creative jackpot! 🪙💥

Challenges

Join in on a challenge and win a fantastic prize.

At the retreat, you'll discover a Challenge Table that will be your go-to spot for all the challenges I've prepared. This table will have everything you need to know to get involved with the challenges.

Each challenge will have its own dedicated challenge box, which contains laminated cards outlining all the details about the challenge. Some embellishments or supplies are provided for the challenge, and they'll be right there in the challenge box, ready for you to use.

Pick up a card for the challenge you'd like to take on.

When you're finished, simply return the card to the Challenge Table.
If you’d rather keep it on hand for reference, feel free to
snap a photo of the card so you have it as you work. 📸

Win a Fantastic Prize

Jump in and join the challenge — it’s all about having a go, getting creative, and enjoying the process together. Whether you go all out or keep it simple, every entry counts, and it’s a great way to connect, share ideas, and cheer each other on.

For each entry into the challenge, please know this is not judged — there’s no right or wrong and no pressure to be “perfect.” Every completed project goes into the draw, and the winner will be chosen by a random draw, so everyone has an equal chance to win.

It’s all about joining in, having fun, and giving it a go. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned crafter, your entry counts just the same — because this challenge is about enjoyment, not competition.

To give you a little extra inspiration, I’ll also be posting hints and tips for each challenge on our Facebook event page. 💡

These hints will help you decide which challenges you’re most excited about and give you some ideas on how to prepare. Whether it’s gathering the perfect photos, selecting your favorite stamps or stencils, or making sure you have your paints and embellishments on hand, these hints will guide you in planning ahead

RETREAT CHALLENGES

These are the planned challenges, and each banner will give you an idea of what they involve so you can plan a little ahead. I’d absolutely love for you to join in and participate — it’s all about having fun, getting creative, and giving things a go.

Retreat Class

In this relaxed and creative class, you’ll make a beautiful decorative piece using a wooden frame and a decoupage weave — and no experience is needed at all.
BOOK IN
Decorative wall art with flowers and vintage-style jars in a white frame.
Each participant will receive one wooden decorative frame along with a choice of one weave design to apply (designs will vary, so there’ll be plenty to choose from).

You’ll start by undercoating and painting your wooden frame in your choice of colour, using the paints provided. From there, you’ll learn how to apply the decoupage weave, and you’ll have the opportunity to add extra decorative touches if you wish — all supplied on the day. Once complete, your frame and artwork will be sealed, leaving you with a finished project ready to take home and enjoy.
