The best chipboard to buy is plain raw so you can customise it to any project you want with various techniques such as painting, chalking, blinging it up, embossing, sand and distress.
You can also cover with paper fibers and fabric, stitch, die-cut, layer and even create a handmade album such as the one on our Blog (Link Below).
Here are a few ways to decorate to your chipboaard.
Depending on the project you can paint it prior to using acrylic paint which co-ordinates with the project you are working on. A few coats will transform your chipboard from into a pretty piece of chipboard. You can also use metallic paints and gesso.
Dress it up with a little. Use adhesives rhinestones. You can add just one or two for a pop of colour or add more and really bling it up!
Once paint is thoroughly dry, use a pen to outline the shape of your chipboard. Specialty pens such as Posca or Signo work best - test your pen on a painted piece of scrap paper for best results.
