Making it easier to choose Co-ordinating Cardstock to go with Paper Collections.
I thought it would be a great idea to add a cardstock colour swatch to some of our newest collections and this is what they will look like. (Image on the right).
At this point the swatch cardstock colours are from Kaisercraft, however down the track I am hoping to add other brands such as Bazzill.
If your not sure what a Colour Swatch is then read on....
Most of you I'm sure have picked up Colour Swatch booklets from Bunnings and Hardware Stores. I know I have and it's not only been to choose paint, sometimes I have used them in my craft projects!! Shhhhh !!
A Colour Swatch allows you to choose colours aswell as tints, gradients, patterns and images and acts a guide to help you decide on a colour scheme and or theme.
I use a Colour Swatch in our monthly Mood Board Challenges. It's actually the first thing I do when I start to create the Mood Board, Sketch and Printable. The Swatch allows you to compare colors and try different combinations. Before you actually commit to a certain colour combination.
At this point the Colour Swatch does not actually link to the cardstock colour, however hopefully I can work on that one down the track.
